misa inoue
senior associate, RLA
Misa,
a native of Osaka, Japan, worked at landscape architecture/urban planning
offices in Tokyo and Osaka where she acquired experience in international
projects with some of the leading U.S. firms. Upon receiving her Masters
Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana,
Misa joined Hammel Green and Abrahamson, Inc. in Minneapolis. She joined
oslund.and.assoc. in 1998.
Misa brings an excellent sense of nurturing to each client and project
with which she is involved. Her intellect, organization and project management
skills are integral to the trajectory of each project. Her abilities to
solve complex challenges ranging from planning strategies to construction
stages make the design process as seamless as possible. Misa is very interested
in exploring the sociological and psychological factors that play a role
in understanding the connection between design and human behavior. She
is also drawn to the planning and design of places for social interaction
within the urban fabric, especially urban plazas.
